Prominent Northern leaders have expressed satisfaction with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s efforts in delivering key infrastructure projects across Northern Nigeria, stating that the administration has kept its campaign promises to the region.
Eko Hot Blog exclusively reports that the endorsement was made during a two-day interactive session on government and citizen engagement, held in Kaduna from July 29 to 30, 2025.

The event was organised by the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation.
In a communiqué issued at the end of the meeting and signed by the foundation’s Director General, Engr. Abubakar Gambo Umar, the leaders highlighted several developmental projects initiated and executed by the current administration, including major road networks, the Ajaokuta–Kaduna–Kano (AKK) gas pipeline, oil exploration activities at Kolmani, and rural irrigation initiatives.
“The summit concluded that Northern Nigeria acknowledges and commends the administration’s high performance in fulfilling its electoral promises in many areas and also appreciates subsisting challenges,” the communiqué stated.

The leaders further lauded the government’s openness to dialogue and continued citizen engagement, noting that Tinubu’s administration had demonstrated commendable progress in the areas of security, infrastructure, and economic reform.
They also emphasized the strategic role of Northern Nigeria in national development, peace, and electoral outcomes.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), in its July report, disclosed that the $2.8 billion AKK pipeline project is now 83 percent completed.
Additionally, the state-owned oil firm recently confirmed the successful drilling of four oil wells in the Kolmani area of Bauchi State.
