In a bold step toward improving educational outcomes and ensuring continuous learning, the Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, Hon. (Princess) Surah Olayemi Animashaun, FHTI, has announced the commencement of a free holiday lesson program for primary school pupils across the local government area.

- St. Theresa’s Primary School, Epe
- St. Michael Primary School, Epe
- Community Primary School, Erepoto
- Zumuratul Islamiyyah Primary School, Epe
According to the Executive Chairman, the program aims to bridge the academic gap often created during long holidays and to keep pupils mentally engaged in preparation for the new school session.
“This is more than just free holiday coaching; it is about giving our children the tools to dream, to learn, and to become better versions of themselves,” Hon. Animashaun said.
“Education remains the most powerful tool we can use to change the future, and this program reflects our administration’s unwavering commitment to accessible, inclusive, and quality education.”

She further emphasized that the holiday lessons are part of a broader strategy to support pupils academically while also easing the burden on parents.
“We understand the concern of parents during this long break, especially in ensuring their children stay productively occupied.
With these free lessons, we are stepping in to support families and invest in our collective future,” she added.
Parents across the community have expressed excitement and appreciation for the initiative, praising it as a timely and impactful intervention.
“It’s a big relief to know my son won’t just be sitting at home watching cartoons all day,” said Mrs. Olayemi Balogun, a mother of three from Epe.
