- The backlog of affected transactions is now being cleared
- NCS has rolled out the B’Odogwu platform across all four zones
The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced that it has successfully fixed the technical problems on its B’Odogwu platform, which had been causing delays for importers by affecting the transmission of essential documents like product certificates for Form M and the SONCAP.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the National Public Relations Officer, Abdullahi Maiwada, stated that the delays began on July 23, 2025, due to technical integration issues that arose when the Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON) was being added to the platform.

These problems temporarily made it difficult for traders to correctly complete their forms, and the challenges included things like limited space for names, incorrect data formats, and missing product codes.
Maiwada said that while the NCS was able to quickly fix its own side of the issues, further work with SON was required to complete the repair. The NCS has now confirmed that both agencies have resolved the transmission issues, and documents are being sent without any problems. The backlog of affected transactions is also being cleared.
To support its users, the NCS has rolled out the B’Odogwu platform across all four zones nationwide and has officers on the ground to provide technical help. The agency also holds regular training sessions to help stakeholders utilize the platform more effectively.
