Eko Hot Blog reports that the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government has urged residents to take full advantage of the forthcoming Nationwide Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) exercise being organised by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The registration, set to begin on Monday, August 18, 2025, will start with online pre-registration via cvr.inecnigeria.org, followed by in-person registration from August 25 at all INEC offices, including the Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Secretariat.
The Chairman emphasized that the exercise is open to eligible Nigerians who need to register for a new Permanent Voter Card (PVC), replace a lost or damaged one, or transfer their registration due to relocation.
“It is your civic responsibility. It is the law,” the Chairman stated, urging residents to ensure they are properly registered to exercise their voting rights in future elections.
