The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has issued a travel advisory for passengers travelling through the Murtala Muhammed Airport (MMA) in Lagos, warning of delays due to traffic congestion caused by a protest.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the agency said the disruption stems from a demonstration by a group of visually impaired individuals, who have blocked access roads leading to the airport. The protest began earlier in the day and has resulted in significant delays for road users.

FAAN advised passengers to adjust their travel plans and set out early to avoid missing their flights. The agency also confirmed that traffic and security personnel are currently on ground working to manage the situation and restore normal movement.

The protest has led to long queues of vehicles and slowed movement in and out of the airport, affecting both local and international travellers.
Authorities say they are engaging with the protesters to resolve the situation peacefully while ensuring minimal disruption to airport operations.
