The Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, has given vehicle owners more time to get their tinted glass permits. The new deadline for enforcement is now October 2, 2025.
Eko Hot Blog reports that this decision comes after a large number of people applied for the permits online. The police said they need extra time to carefully check all the applications to make sure permits are only given to those who qualify, for national security reasons.
