The MFA Ambassadors Ladies of Legacy have officially launched their Free Skill Acquisition Training at Otunla Town Hall, Ibeju-Lekki, with an impressive turnout on the opening day.

Eko Hot Blog reports that designed specifically for school girls currently on holiday, the initiative aims to equip participants with practical skills that can boost personal growth, foster self-reliance, and open doors to future opportunities.
The programme, which commenced today, Monday, August 11, 2025, runs Monday to Friday and offers free training in the following areas:
Graphics Design
Microsoft Office Packages
Didi and Hair Locking
Shoe Making
On the first day, a total of 82 eager participants trooped in from Oribanwa, Ibeju, Magbon, and surrounding communities, ready to learn and connect with new opportunities.
“This initiative is about empowering young girls with practical skills that can open doors to self-reliance and financial independence,” said Olowu Kemisola, General Secretary of MFA Ambassadors Ladies of Legacy.
“The turnout today shows the hunger for knowledge and the desire for a better future.”
In addition to the training, the organisers have promised that exceptional students will be empowered with starter packs and resources to help them put their newly acquired skills into practice.
The first day was filled with energy, learning, and inspiration as the participants actively engaged in the hands-on sessions.
“We believe in capacity building and creating a platform where young women can develop skills that will serve them for a lifetime,” Kemisola added.
With momentum already set, the training continues tomorrow,another opportunity to empower even more young girls across Ibeju-Lekki.
