EKO HOT BLOG reports that speaking during the presentation at the Government House in Akure, Aiyedatiwa described the gesture as “symbolic” and aimed at enhancing productivity among the state’s top civil servants.
He explained that the vehicles would make it easier for the officials to carry out their duties effectively and deliver on government mandates without delays.
The governor also announced that four retired permanent secretaries, appointed during his tenure, would benefit from the same gesture. “Because I appointed them, we will not deprive them of that entitlement,” he said.
“This is to support you as leaders of the public service in the state so that you won’t deliver short, and you won’t deliver late.”
Head of Service, Bayo Philip, expressed gratitude to the governor, commending his commitment to ensuring smooth operations within the civil service. He described Aiyedatiwa as a leader who works tirelessly to keep the state moving forward.
Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Foluke Tunde-Daramola, also praised the governor’s action, calling it part of his “Our EASE” agenda and describing him as “a good father to the state.”
She pledged loyalty on behalf of her colleagues and assured that all mandates given to their Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) would be delivered promptly.

The distribution marks another step in the administration’s effort to improve the working conditions of senior government officials and strengthen governance in Ondo State.
