(Princess) Surah Olayemi Animashaun, FHTI, has joined the global community in celebrating this year’s International Youth Day, describing young people in Epe as “the heartbeat of our progress, the custodians of our heritage, and the architects of our brighter future.”

In her message, Hon. Animashaun praised the energy, brilliance, and resilience of Epe’s youth, noting that they are “not just the leaders of tomorrow, but the drivers of transformation today.”
“As your Chairman, I am deeply committed to creating an environment where your dreams are nurtured and your talents can shine,” she said.
“Through skills acquisition programmes, scholarships, entrepreneurship support, and the opening of new opportunities in technology and innovation, we are laying the foundation for a future where no young person is left behind.”
Referencing the theme of this year’s International Youth Day, the council boss stressed that with the right support, youths can “turn challenges into opportunities, and ideas into lasting impact,” promising that her administration will continue to provide that support because “your success is Epe’s success.”
She concluded by encouraging Epe’s youth to keep dreaming big, working hard, and believing in their power to change the world.
