The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ondo State has asked the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to make sure everyone who can vote is registered, including people in prison. INEC has set a new voter registration period from August 18 to August 30, 2025.
According to a reports from Eko Hot Blog, the party’s media director, Mr. Eniola Olurotimi, said that no citizen who is eligible should be stopped from voting.

The state chairman of the ADC, Wole Ademoyegun, specifically said that eligible prisoners must be included in the process.
Ademoyegun also told ADC members who are not yet registered to use the new registration process. Online registration begins on August 18, and in-person registration starts on August 25.
He stressed that it is important for many people to participate in the election. He believes that Nigeria needs a new leader to solve the country’s problems and that the ADC is ready to take over from the current government.
