Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has expressed his sympathy to Fresh FM Chairman Chief Olayinka Ayefele and the station’s management following a fire that partially destroyed its Ibadan headquarters on Friday night.
In a statement released to the press by his Chief Press Secretary, Dr. Suleimon Olanrewaju, Eko Hot Blog reports that the governor called the incident unfortunate.

Governor Makinde offered gratitude that no lives were lost in the blaze. He encouraged Ayefele, whom he called his “brother and friend,” to stay strong.
“This too shall pass, and Fresh FM will bounce back better and stronger,” the governor affirmed.
