President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Abuja, the nation’s capital, after an almost two-week diplomatic tour of Japan and Brazil, Eko Hot Blog reports.
According to a statement by his Senior Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the president arrived at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at exactly 1:30 a.m. on Thursday. He was received by top government officials.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu first departed Abuja for Japan to attend the ninth edition of the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9).
Following his engagements in Japan, the president proceeded to Brazil in a bid to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.

During the Brazil visit, Nigeria and Brazil signed five Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) covering key sectors, including energy, agriculture, and security.
According to a statement, the presidential jet departed the Brasília International Airport Air Force Base at exactly 12:57 p.m. (local time).
Present at the airport to bid farewell to the president were Carlos Sérgio Sobral Duarte, the Secretary for Africa and the Middle East, and Carlos José Areias Moreno Garcete, the Brazilian Ambassador to Nigeria.
Also in attendance were the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, along with other senior government officials.
