Mustain Abiodun Tobun (MAT 2027), a support group for the State Lawmaker representing Epe Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Abiodun Mustain Tobun, on Thursday, August 28, 2025, trained dozens of youths across Epe Division on Batik Kampala fabric production. The training was held at the Epe Local Government Secretariat.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the group’s founder, Alhaji Rabiu Quadri, alongside APC LGA Chairman, Hon. Oloruntoyin Gbadamoshi, encouraged the participants to embrace the skills acquired and use them as a tool for self-reliance.

Hon. Gbadamoshi praised the initiative, describing it as an extension of Hon. Tobun’s passion for youth development.
“Hon. Tobun has consistently demonstrated that he is a lover of the youths and a passionate leader who cares about their future,” Gbadamoshi said.
“From free JAMB sponsorship to GCE forms, empowerment and employment opportunities, his interventions have always focused on giving young people a chance to succeed.”
In his remarks, Alhaji Quadri said the training was designed to prepare the participants for a productive future.
“This training was organised to equip our youths vocationally so they can be self-reliant and contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s economy despite the high unemployment rate caused by over-dependence on white-collar jobs,” he stated.
Some of the beneficiaries, including Mrs. Yemisi Alonge, commended MAT 2027 and reiterated their support for Hon. Tobun.
“We appreciate this empowerment because it gives us skills that can put food on our table and also open new opportunities for us,” Alonge noted.
Chairman of Ward A5, Hon. Balina Omotayo Smart, who represented the lawmaker at the event, also encouraged the youths to make the most of the training, assuring them of continuous support from Hon. Tobun, the Balogun of Epe Land.
