Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has expressed appreciation to Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, following her visit to Lagos, where she championed programs aimed at supporting women and children.
Eko Hot Blog reports that in a statement on his official social media accounts on Saturday, Sanwo-Olu commended Mrs. Tinubu’s dedication and compassion, noting that her presence reinforced the administration’s commitment to fostering an inclusive society.

During the visit, the First Lady launched the Renewed Hope Initiative Empowerment Programs, which offers economic and social support to women and children, and commissioned the Lagos Industrial Leather Hub in Matori, the largest facility of its kind in West Africa.
Governor Sanwo-Olu described these efforts as major steps toward boosting local production, creating jobs, and empowering artisans across Lagos State.

“Her Excellency’s dedication to women, children, and families is inspiring, and her visit strengthens our shared mission of building a more inclusive society,” he said, adding that Lagosians eagerly anticipate welcoming the First Lady again.
Senator Oluremi Tinubu’s visit aligns with the federal government’s ongoing efforts to promote grassroots empowerment, skill acquisition, and economic diversification through initiatives under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
