The Osun State Chairman of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM). Mr. Adewale Adebayo has accused Governor Ademola Adeleke of nepotism, claiming the governor is concentrating infrastructure projects in his hometown of Ede.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Adebayo made the statement over the weekend after the governor approved the construction of three new dual carriageways, all leading to Ede from different parts of the state.

Adebayo described the governor’s focus on Ede as a “government of Ede, by Ede and for Ede.” He pointed to earlier symbolic actions, such as the erection of a statue of the governor’s late brother and the change of the state secretariat’s official address, as clear signs of his intentions.
He also noted that the development in Ede has outshone that of the state capital, Osogbo, in less than three years. He argued that Adeleke has either rehabilitated or newly built every major road in his hometown, including roads that lead to private homes.
