EKO HOT BLOG reports that the President landed today at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, where top government officials and dignitaries welcomed him.
The President’s return from what was a diplomatic and working holiday signals a return to full-scale governance and a renewed push on his administration’s economic and social reforms.
Among those who received the President were Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, and Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State.
President Tinubu had departed Nigeria on September 4 for what was initially planned as a 10-day leave. During his stay in Paris, the President held a private luncheon with his French counterpart, President Emmanuel Macron, at the Élysée Palace, where they discussed strengthening bilateral relations.
He also remained actively engaged in national issues, providing firm directives to his aides on matters of food security and economic policy.
