The Ondo State Police Command has arraigned a 53-year-old man, Babawale Kolawole, accused of repeatedly violating his 16-year-old niece.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the teenager alleged that her uncle engaged in the act almost 7 days a week for several months.

She also revealed that he made her undergo 2 procedures as a result of the abuse.
Police spokesperson, DSP Olusola Ayanlade, confirmed on Thursday that the case was reported to the Command on 13 September 2025.
He said the Gender-Based Offences Unit immediately arrested the suspect and prepared the case for prosecution.
According to the girl, after each incident, the suspect attempted to conceal evidence by wiping her body with a cloth.
Kolawole has since been arraigned before a competent court and remanded in custody pending trial.
Ayanlade stressed that the Command remains committed to safeguarding the rights of women and children, adding that perpetrators of such crimes would face the 100% weight of the law.
In a separate development, the police arrested one Wale Ibrahim for allegedly killing Fisayo Ajetumobi during a dispute over ₦14,000 owed for wood supplied to Gabriel Oyeniran.
The altercation turned violent, leading Ibrahim to allegedly stab Ajetumobi to death. The suspect was promptly arrested and has been charged to court after investigation.
