Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has reaffirmed his commitment to the people, promising that his administration will remain focused on their welfare and progress.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Governor Fubara gave this assurance on Friday shortly after arriving at the Government House in Port Harcourt, following a rousing welcome by supporters and residents at the Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that addressing the crowd, the Governor expressed deep appreciation for the show of support, describing it as a humbling experience and a reflection of the people’s confidence in his leadership.
“I know many were expecting me to speak at the Airport,” he said. “But let me thank the good people of Rivers State first. The kind of love and reception I saw today truly humbled me.”
Fubara noted that the turnout was more than just a welcome it was a clear message of unity and trust between his administration and the people.
“That gathering wasn’t just about celebration. It was a powerful show of love, trust, and solidarity.
It reaffirms the strong bond between this government and the people we serve,” he said.
He pledged to continue upholding the values that have endeared his administration to the people, saying:
“With God on our side, we will keep doing the things that have made you stand with us. We love you, but always remember God loves you even more.”
Governor Fubara also announced that he would make an official statewide broadcast by 6 pm to thank those who played a part in restoring peace and normalcy in the state.
“In my 6 pm address, I will personally express gratitude to everyone who helped bring stability back to Rivers State,” he added.
