EKO HOT BLOG reports that Governor Dapo Abiodun, in a statement on Sunday, commended teachers for their patience, commitment, and passion in shaping the lives of children across the state.
He described them as “true nation builders whose knowledge and sacrifices continue to mould the future of our children and society.”
The governor highlighted his administration’s achievements in strengthening the education sector, including improved school infrastructure, enhanced teacher welfare, digital learning initiatives, and sustained professional training for educators.
“In Ogun State, we are proud of the progress we have made in revitalising education. From upgrading schools to promoting digital learning and continuous professional development, we are creating an environment where teaching is impactful and rewarding,” Abiodun said.
He also reaffirmed his government’s commitment to supporting teachers, recognising their role as the foundation of sustainable development.
“As we celebrate this special day, we salute every teacher across Ogun State and Nigeria for their selfless service and dedication.
We remain committed to empowering them as they nurture the minds that will shape a brighter tomorrow,” the governor added.
