The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), in partnership with the Presidential Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms Committee, will hold a virtual interactive session to discuss the Impact of the New Tax Reform Laws on Nigerians in the Diaspora.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the session is scheduled for Friday, October 10, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. (Nigeria Time) and is designed to enlighten Nigerians abroad on the implications of the recently enacted tax laws.

According to Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO of NiDCOM, the engagement underscores the Federal Government’s commitment to inclusivity and transparency in implementing fiscal reforms.

“As vital contributors to Nigeria’s development, it is important for Nigerians in the diaspora to fully understand how these reforms may impact their businesses and investments,” she said.
The virtual forum will feature presentations from tax experts, members of the Presidential Committee, and representatives of relevant government agencies, who will provide practical insights and respond to participants’ questions.
