The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, will on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, officially commission the newly completed Lagos State Housing Estate, Ajara Phase 1, Badagry.

Announcing the development during a media chat on Tuesday, the Commissioner for Housing, Hon. Moruf Akinderu-Fatai, said the estate consists of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, reflecting the administration’s drive to make quality and affordable housing accessible to Lagosians.
According to Akinderu-Fatai, the Ajara Housing Estate is part of Governor Sanwo-Olu’s commitment to completing all ongoing housing projects across the state.

He expressed optimism that the project will significantly impact the local economy by creating jobs and fostering community development.
The commissioner also appreciated prospective subscribers for their patience and confidence in the administration, while cautioning applicants to avoid fraudulent agents.
“Interested subscribers are advised to visit the Estate Department of the Ministry of Housing at Block 3, the Secretariat, Alausa, for legitimate application processes,” Akinderu-Fatai said.
