In another impactful stride towards infrastructural renewal and improved quality of life in Epe Federal Constituency, Hon. Wale Raji, Member representing Epe Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has facilitated the installation of solar-powered streetlights along Mafowosofo Street, in the heart of Agbowa, Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.
Eko Hot Blog reports that once a quiet and poorly lit route, Mafowosofo Street has been transformed into a lively and secure environment.
Since the installation, the area has witnessed a surge in night-time activities — with small businesses extending their operating hours and young people enjoying evening football games under the new lights.
During a late-night visit to the area, residents expressed their profound appreciation to Rep. Raji for what they described as “a project that brings both light and life” to their community.
“We now feel safer at night, and our children can play freely. The whole area is more active and beautiful,” said one resident, reflecting the community’s excitement over the new development.
The project, part of Rep. Raji’s ongoing constituency infrastructural drive, extends beyond Mafowosofo Street.
Other communities expected to benefit in this phase include Abule Saga, Araromi, Ajaganabe, Agbowa Sawmill, Ito-Omu, Etita, among others.
Rep. Raji reaffirmed that the solar streetlight project is an ongoing, continuous initiative implemented in phases to ensure wide-reaching impact across the constituency.
