Anomo, who ran unopposed, recorded what observers described as a landslide victory, with voter turnout and support surpassing expectations across all six wards.

His return to office for a second term also confirms the re-election of his Vice Chairmanship running mate, Alhaji Wasiu Oluwole Dehinsilu. Both candidates had received strong endorsements ahead of the election, including a symbolic gesture by the six traditional rulers in Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA who jointly purchased their nomination forms.
Supporters and stakeholders at the collation centre credited the victory to Anomo’s performance during his first term, citing achievements in healthcare, education, electrification, social welfare, and empowerment programs such as “Okoowo Anomo.”
Reacting to the outcome, Anomo praised LASIEC for its conduct of the election and expressed gratitude to the people of the LCDA.
