Declaring the event open, the Lagos APC Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, described the forum as “a strategic melting pot of ideas and reflections aimed at building stronger internal cohesion, reconnecting with the grassroots, and strengthening voter mobilization efforts ahead of 2027.”
Delivering the keynote address, former Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN), charged party leaders to deepen engagement with existing APC supporters while mobilizing new voters during the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR).
According to him, “The strength of our democracy lies not only in new registrations but in sustaining the confidence of those who have consistently voted APC across elections.”
He emphasized the need for voter education, civic enlightenment, and human development as vital tools for political sustainability.
The APC National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, urged party loyalists to intensify grassroots mobilization across the 20 LGAs and 37 LCDAs in Lagos State, stressing that the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is already transforming Nigeria’s economic and infrastructural landscape.
He added that “continuity, unity, and coordinated mobilization remain key to ensuring Lagos continues to deliver overwhelmingly for the APC at all levels.”
The highlight of the forum was the electrifying entrance of former Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, which drew thunderous applause and cheers from the audience.
The warm exchanges between Ambode and other party leaders signaled a renewed sense of reconciliation and unity within the Lagos APC family.
TASA described Ambode’s re-emergence as “the rekindling of a bridge that connects the past, the present, and the future of Lagos progressivism.”
They noted that Ambode’s technocratic legacy, infrastructural strides, and digital innovations still define modern Lagos.
The group stated that his renewed visibility will “galvanize youths, professionals, and silent supporters of Lagos progressivism, reenergizing APC’s grassroots machinery for 2027.”
The Leader of the Lagos House of Representatives Caucus, Hon. Enitan Dolapo Badru, briefed participants on legislative interventions backing Lagos’ infrastructural growth.
Senator Tokunbo Abiru, representing the Lagos Senate Caucus, highlighted President Tinubu’s economic reforms that are creating opportunities for artisans and small businesses.
The Deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, presented a performance review of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration, showcasing achievements under the THEMES+ Agenda in transportation, housing, education, and technology.
The event concluded with an energetic performance by King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (K1 De Ultimate), symbolizing renewed harmony and collective progress within the Lagos APC family.

In attendance were Prince Tajudeen Olusi, Dr. Abayomi Finnih, Chief James Odumbaku (Baba Eto), Senator Seye Ogunlewe, Senator Ganiyu Solomon, and several other leaders from across Lagos State.
