The Lagos State Police Command has arrested three police inspectors for allegedly assaulting a 22-year-old man, Jacob Sunday, leaving him in a coma after a brutal beating at the 22 PMF Barracks in Ogudu, Eko Hot Blog reports.
According to information obtained by Zagazola Makama, the incident occurred around 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday when the officers; Inspector John Alom of 63 PMF Ikorodu, Inspector Sunday Adoga of CTU Base 2 Ikeja, and Inspector Jehovah Usam of 22 PMF Ikeja allegedly lured the victim into their room.

Jacob, who is reportedly the son of Inspector Sunday Ochepo, was accused of having an affair with Sarah Richard, the wife of ASP Audu Richard, another officer residing in the same barracks.
Sources said the three officers stripped the young man naked and beat him severely until he lost consciousness. He was later rescued by detectives and rushed to the Police College Cottage Hospital in Ikeja, where he remains in critical condition at the emergency unit.
The three inspectors have since been arrested and are currently in detention as the Lagos State Police Command investigates the case. Authorities have yet to release an official statement on disciplinary actions, but internal sources indicate that the officers may face suspension pending further inquiry.
