The Joshua Olusanya Music Empowerment Tour (JOMET 2025) came to a thrilling close at Mountain Top University, Lagos, on Wednesday night, with a powerful performance that left students and music lovers inspired.

Over the course of the tour, Olusanya visited several tertiary institutions, encouraging students to view music as a force for transformation and personal growth.

Among the special guests at the grand finale was Blake Panting, a respected music educator with over 18 years of teaching experience and a master’s degree in Percussion Performance from Arizona State University.
Panting, who teaches at the American International School of Abuja, commended Olusanya for his vision and artistry, describing him as “a performer who blends passion, humility, and purpose.”
He praised the JOMET initiative for using music to inspire young people, noting that “Joshua reminded everyone of the power of live music to connect hearts and ignite dreams.”

Students described the event as one of the most memorable on campus, with many saying it went beyond entertainment. “It felt like a movement,” said one attendee. “The energy, message, and purpose made it special.”
Speaking after the concert, Olusanya said JOMET 2025 was driven by his desire to inspire young people to pursue purpose through music. “Talent is not enough,” he said. “It takes discipline, passion, and faith to make a difference.”
Panting’s attendance added international recognition to the event, underscoring the growing global appreciation of Nigerian music and youth empowerment through the arts.
