Popular TikTok influencer Peller has issued a public apology following his arrest by the Lagos State Police Command over an incident involving reckless driving and public safety concerns.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the content creator, in a video shared online, expressed regret over the incident and pleaded with Nigerians for forgiveness, promising to avoid such actions in the future.

The incident is believed to be connected to emotional distress following the end of his relationship with his girlfriend, Jarvis, who had earlier cited concerns about his emotional control as the reason for their breakup.

Police authorities confirmed that Peller was taken into custody after allegedly engaging in dangerous driving while livestreaming on social media, an act that reportedly led to a serious accident along the Lekki–Epe Expressway.
According to the Lagos State Police Command, the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation, after which the suspect will be charged to court.
Reacting to the development, Commissioner of Police Olohundare Jimoh cautioned social media influencers against promoting unsafe behaviour online, stressing that digital fame does not exempt anyone from the law.
