EKO HOT BLOG reports that the airline said the decision is aimed at improving passenger convenience, boosting operational reliability and strengthening regional connectivity. It added that the new schedule would offer more competitive departure times that align better with domestic, regional and long haul flights.
In a statement issued on Monday, Air Peace explained that the transition to daytime operations would enhance the overall travel experience for passengers flying across West and Central Africa.
The airline’s spokesperson, Efe Osifo Whiskey, said the move forms part of Air Peace’s broader strategy to strengthen its regional network and improve on time performance.
“The transition to daytime regional operations will enhance passenger comfort and travel experience, improve schedule reliability and on time performance, provide stronger connectivity to night time long haul departures, and support business, government, and leisure travel across West and Central Africa,” she said.
According to the airline, flights on the Lagos Abidjan Dakar Banjul Dakar Abidjan Lagos route will operate every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Osifo Whiskey said departures from Lagos will be at 7:00 am, with return flights arriving at 9:40 pm on the same days.
She also said services on the Lagos Accra Roberts International Airport Monrovia Freetown Roberts International Accra Lagos route will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Flights will depart Lagos at 8:00 am and return at 7:25 pm.
In addition, Air Peace will operate daily Lagos Accra Lagos flights, with morning departures at 7:00 am. Extra evening frequencies will also be available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The airline said the revised timetable would provide better connections to night time long haul departures, while supporting trade, tourism and regional mobility.

Air Peace added that the shift positions it more competitively against other regional and international carriers operating from Lagos and aligns with its long term goal of strengthening Nigeria’s status as a major aviation hub in West Africa.
