Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Wednesday received popular American content creator and live streamer Kai Cenat at the Lagos House, Marina, during the streamer’s visit to the state.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the meeting was disclosed in a statement shared on X by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media, Jubril A. Gawat, who said Cenat paid the governor a courtesy visit and discussed his experiences while in Lagos.

According to Gawat, Cenat is currently in the state on his second visit, following up on projects and initiatives aimed at children and young people in Lagos.
“Kai Cenat is in Lagos to follow up on some projects and initiatives he plans to execute for kids and young people in Lagos State, Nigeria,” Gawat stated.

However, officials of the Lagos State Government did not disclose further details regarding Cenat’s itinerary or the specific nature of his engagements during the visit.
Cenat’s visit comes just weeks after another American streamer, IShowSpeed, toured Lagos, attracting massive crowds and generating widespread attention across social media platforms.
Kai Cenat is one of the most-followed streamers globally, renowned for his live-streamed content on platforms such as Twitch and YouTube, where he commands a large international audience, particularly among young people.
