EKO HOT BLOG reports that data released by OptaJose showed that the Spain international became the first player to complete 100 successful dribbles across Europe’s five major leagues this season. He has attempted 199 dribbles so far in the current campaign.
Yamal reached the milestone even as Barcelona fell short against Girona, underlining his growing influence and attacking threat for the Catalan club.
The teenage winger now leads the dribbling charts by a wide margin, reflecting his consistency and creativity in one on one situations.
According to the rankings, Yamal is 26 successful dribbles ahead of second placed Yan Diomande of RB Leipzig, who has completed 74 out of 138 dribbles this season.
The figures further highlight Yamal’s emergence as one of the most exciting young attackers in European football.
Since breaking into Barcelona’s first team under former manager Xavi Hernandez, the 18 year old has established himself as a key attacking option.
His pace, confidence and technical quality have made him one of the club’s standout performers, even amid inconsistent team results.
Yamal will now aim to help Barcelona return to winning ways when they face Levante UD in their next LaLiga fixture this weekend under coach Hansi Flick.

With his performances continuing to draw attention across Europe, Yamal remains central to Barcelona’s push for stability and progress in the league.
