The Member representing Epe Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rep. Wale Raji, has congratulated the management and medical team of Federal Medical Centre, Epe following the successful completion of its maiden world-class orthopaedic surgeries.
Eko Hot Blog reports that in a statement issued on behalf of his constituents, the lawmaker described the development as a historic milestone and a significant leap in the ongoing transformation of the medical facility into a full-fledged tertiary healthcare institution.

This historic feat marks a proud moment for our community and a major leap forward in the steady transformation of the Centre into a full-fledged tertiary healthcare institution.”
Rep. Raji expressed particular excitement over the landmark procedures, including the successful operation on a patient with a Giant Cell Tumour of the radius and a Total Hip Replacement performed on a young man suffering from advanced Avascular Necrosis.

He noted that beyond orthopaedics, the Centre’s expansion into advanced laboratory diagnostics, cardiology clinics, dental care, fertility and hormonal testing, alongside the recruitment of more specialist consultants, demonstrates purposeful growth and professionalism.
