EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Ligue 1 champions will face Premier League winners Arsenal in Budapest on May 30 in what is already being billed as one of the biggest European finals in recent years.
PSG go into the encounter with confidence after defeating Arsenal 3-1 on aggregate in last season’s semi-finals before demolishing Inter Milan 5-0 in the final to win the Champions League title.
Despite PSG’s recent success in Europe, Enrique admitted that Mikel Arteta’s side remain one of the most difficult teams to face because of their organisation, pressing intensity and attacking threat.
Speaking during a press conference on Wednesday after Arsenal secured the Premier League title, the Spanish tactician praised the English club for what he described as an outstanding campaign.
“I believe they deserve to win the league, they have had an outstanding season,” Enrique said.
“We have already faced this Arsenal team, so we are aware of their capabilities.”
The former Barcelona manager particularly highlighted Arsenal’s defensive discipline and ability to dominate games even without possession.
“Without the ball, they are the best team in the world, and with it, they can score frequently. This creates a remarkable combination for them,” he added.
Arsenal will head into the final hoping to win the UEFA Champions League for the first time in the club’s history after years of near misses in Europe.
For PSG, the match presents another opportunity to cement their growing dominance on the continent after finally lifting the trophy last season.

The final is expected to attract global attention, with both clubs boasting some of Europe’s most exciting players and two highly respected managers on the touchline.
