Priscilla tied the knot in an elaborate series of high-profile matrimonial events held across Lagos and Tanzania.
Reflecting on the family dynamics during the wedding planning, Ojo noted that her own parents were divorced, a pattern she experienced in her personal life and was determined to prevent from echoing in the lives of her offspring.
She explained that she made a conscious vow to compartmentalize her personal grievances so that they would not affect her children’s emotional well-being or future milestones.
The movie star maintained that since her daughter’s father is alive and well, there was no logical or moral justification to deny him the opportunity to witness his daughter’s wedding.
Ojo clarified that the fundamental issues that led to the collapse of her marriage were strictly confined to the relationship between the two adults.
