Breaking: 11 Covid-19 Patients In Lagos Regain Freedom
Eleven covid-19 patients in Lagos have regained their freedoms, after making a full recovery from the infection.
This disclosure was made by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on his twitter handle on Thursday.
He tweeted, ” I am happy to break to you, my good people of Lagos, the news of the release today of 11 more patients from our facility in Yaba.
They have fully recovered and have tested negative to COVID19 and have been allowed to return home to their families.
The Governor said, the patients include two females and nine males, adding that their results came out negative in two rounds of tests.
In the last thread of the tweet, the Governor reiterated that the state will not rest on its oars but rather stay vigilant as a result of the rising cases of community infection.
“I assure you that at the end, we will hoist a flag of victory – with your cooperation and by the grace of the Almighty”.
So far, since the beginning of the outbreak, Lagos ranks number one in terms of States with most cases of covid-19 in Nigeria.
