Lekki Bridge Facelift: Motorists Commend Ease Of Vehicular Activities
Residents of Lagos Island, Falomo-Ikoyi, and Eti Osa have expressed delight at the revamp and that took place on the lekki ikoyi link Bridge.

The weather which was not clear but cool made the Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) interrupt the power supply in the areas where there was electricity before the heavy rain started by 7: 30 AM.
The private cars owners that drove through the bridge that links the Lekki to Ikoyi were able to see through, without holdup, with the help of streetlights that beautified the bridge and made the scene looked as if it were night.
Our reporter who was caught in the rain said there were no traffic jams on other roads as vehicles moved freely without any hindrance. Vehicles moved freely from Ajah to CMS and Obalende, drivers only had a second stopover at the Lekki toll gate.
Officers from Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) were at alert for any breakdown of vehicles and there was no waterlogged potholes in the expressway.
However, every nook and cranny of Lagos Island to Eti Osa were partially flooded.
Mr. Taiwo Ajadi said today’s rainfall has shown that the government should put a good measure on the ground for an easier flow of drainages in every part of Lagos.
“Rain has not started at all, yet we are jumping in street from one spot to another to escape stagnant water,” he said.
