Lagosians Urge Dangote To Continue His Kind Gesture After Ramadan
Are Dangote’s freebies meant for the period of Ramadan only or as long as COVID-19 is still existing?
These are the questions the residents in Lagos State, especially the Muslims among them, have been asking one another for the past two days.
Since the advent of COVID-19, churches and mosques have been giving freebies, especially food items, to members of the society to alleviate the poor standard of people living in remote and unkempt areas.
Well, most of the organizations involved in this godly responsibility stopped halfway while some are still struggling to meet up the beneficiary’s demands up to the moment.
Dangote Group of the company has been engaging in sharing loaves of bread among people that need them.
In some areas, the group always took the loaves of bread to them on a daily basis while in other areas were either given once in a week or twice a week.
Al-Imam Al-Imran told our reporter that it was every Wednesday that the members of the group used to bring those loaves of bread to be shared among the people in his community, Ilasan Estate, during the Ramadan period.

“Now that Ramadan has gone, I don’t know whether we should be expecting them more,” he said.
Mrs. Chinyere Stephen said if the kind gesture could still continue after the month of Ramadan, it would be a great assistance to residents of Lagos as COVID-19 is still persisting.
“The bread shared by Dangote’s group still goes around than the one politicians share before the arrival of Dangote’s’ own,” she said.
