‘A Man of Boundless Benevolence’ — Glowing Tributes For Ex-Lagos SSG Aro-Lambo
The late Omotilewa Aro-Lambo was a subject of glowing tributes at his 40-day Fidau prayer.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that attendees of the 40-day Fidau prayer for late Alhaji Gausudeen Omotilewa Ayinde Aro-Lambo, a former Secretary to the Lagos State Government, shared heartfelt tributes.

The prayer, which included a celebration of the deceased’s life, held on Sunday at the Monarch Event Center, Lekki, Lagos.
Alhaji Aro-Lambo passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 79.
He was subsequently buried on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, according to Islamic rites.
Several people who spoke with Eko Hot Blog at his Fidau prayer remembered him as a man whose honesty and generosity touched many lives.
Alhaji Sikiru Alabi, the Baba Adinni of Lagos, a close associate of Alhaji Aro-Lambo, spoke warmly of his integrity.
“Alhaji Gausudeen was an embodiment of honesty. His word was his bond, and he was a man of principle. His sincerity and straightforwardness earned him respect and admiration from all who knew him,” he said.
Similarly, Mrs. Aderenle Alonge, a family friend, echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing the deceased’s trustworthy nature.
“He was someone you could always count on. In a world where honesty is rare, Alhaji Gausudeen stood out as a beacon of truth and reliability,” she remarked.
Likewise, Alhaja Aminat Olayinka Ayeni, reflected on Alhaji Aro-Lambo’s charitable spirit.
“Alhaji Gausudeen’s generosity knew no bounds. He was always ready to help those in need, whether they were family, friends, or even strangers. His selflessness was truly inspiring,” she stated.
Also, Alhaji Abdulraman Olalekan Ashiru shared memories of the deceased’s unwavering dedication to his community.
“He was not just a leader, but a servant of the people. He worked tirelessly to improve the lives of those around him, always putting others before himself,” he said.
Meanwhile, the most poignant tribute came from Alhaji Aro-Lambo’s daughter, Alhaja Wakilat Wunmi Ashiru Aro-Lambo, who described her father as a cheerful giver.
“My father was a man who found joy in giving. His generosity was boundless, and he always had a smile on his face when helping others,” the deceased’s daughter said in an emotional tone.
“He taught us the true meaning of compassion and kindness.”
These testimonies from those who knew him best highlight the multifaceted legacy of Alhaji Aro-Lambo.
His honesty, generosity, and dedication to his community have left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
