Position Overview: Maintenance Technician
Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential faults proactively.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment issues while escalating critical matters to supervisors.
- Maintain detailed records, including logging faults, completing equipment history cards, and submitting timely reports.
- Perform preventive maintenance following equipment manuals to keep facilities in optimal condition.
- Monitor and enforce proper equipment usage to prevent mishandling.
- Drive energy-saving initiatives to reduce costs and consumption.
- Coordinate spare requisitions, ensure proper handovers during shift changes, and evaluate vendor performance.
- Contribute ideas for improving operations, preventive maintenance, and spares management.
- Engage in professional development and actively participate in team meetings and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- OND or HND holders are encouraged to apply.
- Must be computer literate and reside on the Lagos mainland.
