Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), has extended her congratulations to Nigerian-born broadcaster Richard Edoki, also known as Richybongo, on his nomination for Best Newcomer at the National Hospital Radio Awards 2025.
Eko Hot Blog reports that in a congratulatory message released by Abdur-Rahman Balogun, the Commission’s Director of Media, Public Relations, and Protocols Unit, Dabiri-Erewa praised Edoki as an exemplary representation of Nigerian excellence in the diaspora.

Richybongo, the host of African Vibe with Richybongo on the Community & Hospital Broadcasting Network (CHBN Radio) in Cornwall, has been acknowledged for his work in promoting African culture and fostering diversity and inclusivity through his Sunday evening radio program.
The programme’s objective is to promote African heritage while building bridges with the Cornish community.
