Accord Party has condemned the attack on Imole House, the campaign office of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke and the party secretariat located in Osogbo.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the incident reportedly occurred on Sunday night in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, marking the second attack on the facility within two weeks.

According to reports, unidentified assailants allegedly opened fire around the premises, causing damage to offices and shattering windows within the building, including the office of the state chairman of Accord, Victor Akande.

A message reportedly inscribed on a wall at the premises reading “Say No to automatic ticket” was also discovered after the incident.
Reacting in a statement signed by its National Chairman, Maxwell Mgbuden, the party claimed security agencies had earlier been alerted to alleged plans by political actors to use thugs to destabilise the state ahead of the August 15, 2026 governorship election.
Accord expressed concern that the attack still occurred despite the alleged warnings, describing the development as disturbing.
The party called on the Inspector-General of Police and the Department of State Services to investigate the incident, arrest those responsible and identify any sponsors behind the attack.

It also urged security agencies to strengthen protection around Imole House and other strategic locations in the state to prevent future occurrences.
Accord condemned political violence, insisting that electoral contests should be driven by ideas rather than intimidation or force.
The party further alleged that the attack was politically motivated and linked it to preparations ahead of the governorship election.
It reiterated support for Governor Adeleke’s administration, stating that residents of the state remained committed to continuity and would resist intimidation or violence.
