Veteran Nollywood actress, Ify Onwuemene, who was diagnosed with endometrial cancer, has called on the public to assist her as she battles for her life.
In a two-part video making rounds on social media, the actress said she had spent over six million naira since she started treatment in February 2019.

She appreciated those who contributed to her treatment the last time she solicited help but said the sickness has resurfaced and would need help to fund Chemotherapy.
The video was posted by fellow actress, Gloria Young, as she sought from Nigerians to come to the aid of the actress.
Gloria Young first brought to public notice, the actress plight on June 28, as she shared a photo of the actress.
She wrote’ “Folks please we need help for our sister @ifyonwuemene an actress from the days of Sam loco and Enebeli Elebuwa. I worked with her last on the set of Tajudeen Adepetu’s “Everyday People” in the late ’90s. She is down with endometrial cancer. She has tried sourcing for funds on her own, but nothing is too small. Please send whatever you can to Ifey Onwuemene, Fidelity Bank 6010999993. Thank you”
