EKO HOT BLOG reports that Uzarai Musa and her son Kladang Musa, both residents of Bitikaya in Adamawa State’s Madagali local government area, were shot and killed by hunters who accused them of witchcraft.

For years, the victims were accused of murdering people and infecting their community with diseases.

Hassan Solomon, 26, and Uleri Shaba, 28, both of Gulak town, shot both mother and son, killing them instantly, to relieve the community of their ‘witchcraft.’

The hunters claimed that the deceased ‘witches’ were responsible for the deaths of two of their relatives, as well as other mysterious deaths and events in their community.

The hunters shot late Uzarai in the stomach, while her son was shot in the neck at their home.
