EKO HOT BLOG reports that speaking at a press conference in Birnin Kebbi, the party’s publicity secretary, Jamilu Muhammed, said the suspension was based on the trio’s alleged failure to consult other executives before taking major decisions.
He accused them of allowing politicians from Abuja to dominate the party, a move that has angered long-standing members.
“We will not, after tailoring the party to its present status, allow Abuja politicians to dominate it,” Muhammed said, stressing that the leadership’s actions were against the principles on which the Kebbi ADC was built.
The decision followed an extraordinary meeting of loyal party members and stakeholders. In the interim, the ADC has appointed Abdulrazaq Abubakar Isah Iko as acting chairman and Adamu Aliyu as acting secretary, pending the election of permanent officials at a future congress.

The suspended members have been warned to desist from identifying themselves as party officials or engaging in party activities. The ADC also condemned any political gatherings organised by them, describing such actions as violations of the Electoral Act.
These developments highlight deepening internal rifts within the Kebbi ADC, raising uncertainty about its stability ahead of upcoming political contests.
