AFCON Qualifiers: Libya To Host Nigeria In Benina
Libya has chosen the Martyrs of Benina Stadium as the venue to host Group D leaders, Nigeria, for their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match on Tuesday, October 15.
Nigeria will play the first leg of the fixture at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Friday, September 11.

The Martyrs of Benina Stadium, a 10,000-seat facility with artificial turf, is located 19 kilometres outside Benghazi. Formerly known as Hugo Chávez Stadium, it will host the return leg, scheduled to kick off at 8 pm Nigerian time.

Nigeria currently leads the group with four points, following a commanding 3-0 win over Benin Republic in Uyo and a goalless draw against Rwanda in Kigali.
Libya sits at the bottom of Group D, having managed a 1-1 draw with Rwanda at the Tripoli International Stadium and suffering a 2-1 defeat to Benin in Abidjan.
