Akogun Wale Raji Anomo Receives Outstanding Local Government Chairman Award at Nigeria-Ghana Leadership Summit
Ekohotblog reports that the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, has been honored with the Outstanding Local Government Chairman Award at the prestigious Nigeria-Ghana Leadership Summit held in Abuja.

Due to unexpected circumstances, Akogun Anomo could not attend the summit in person. As a result, Comrade Damilare Fagbodun, the convener of Lagos Focus, presented the award to him at the Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA Secretariat, representing the summit’s organizers.
During the presentation, Fagbodun praised Akogun Anomo’s leadership and his efforts in improving the LCDA. He said, “Your dedication to transforming the LCDA and delivering effective governance at the grassroots level is truly commendable.”
In another event, the Association of Oloris in Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, led by Olori Fatimoh Mojisola Balogun, the Olori Elejinrin of Ejinrin, gave Akogun Anomo an Award of Appreciation. The award was for his support of the Oloris’ participation in the 2024 Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO) Summit.
Olori Balogun, speaking for the group, expressed their gratitude. She said, “We deeply appreciate the Chairman’s support. The Oloris benefited greatly from the knowledge shared at the summit.”

She also praised Akogun Anomo for his focus on infrastructure and human capital development in the LCDA.
In his response, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo thanked both the organizers of the Nigeria-Ghana Leadership Summit and the Association of Oloris for the awards. He said, “I dedicate these awards to the people of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, as they have enabled me to serve.”
He promised to continue working hard to improve the area, focusing on infrastructure, human capital, and economic growth. He reassured the community, saying, “I remain committed to uplifting our people and driving development.
