EKO HOT BLOG reports that a violent clash between supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Jigawa State has resulted in one fatality and multiple injuries.
The incident took place in Maigatari local government area when PDP supporters arrived at the APC’s party headquarters in Gangare Quarters and allegedly attacked 37-year-old Abdullahi Isiyaku. The victim was rushed to Gumel General Hospital but later died from his injuries.
The police in Jigawa state have confirmed the death and issued a statement regarding the incident.

The spokesman of the state police command, DSP Lawan Shiisu, reported that five suspects have been arrested in connection with the clash and the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for a discreet investigation.
