EKO HOT BLOG reports that Osakwe confirmed that APGA claimed victory in all 21 local government areas, both for chairmanship and councillorship positions, as declared at the ward levels.
She described the election as fair and transparent, stating that the commission thoroughly analyzed and collated the results to avoid any discrepancies.
Notably, no opposition candidates, political parties, or agents were present during the announcement of the results at the ANSIEC office.
In her remarks, Osakwe praised the people of Anambra for their large turnout and commended security agencies for ensuring a peaceful voting process.
“This is to affirm the results of the chairmanship and councillorship elections held on September 28, 2024.
“The commission took great care in analyzing the results to ensure accuracy,” Osakwe said. She emphasized that all polling units across the state recorded free, fair, and credible elections.
APGA’s dominance in the election further solidifies its strong political presence in Anambra State.
