Chairman of the Bokkos Cultural Development Forum (BCDF), Farmasum Fudang, told our correspondent that the victims included two officials of the Church Of Christ In Nations (COCIN).
He added that two COCIN churches and several houses were set ablaze, maize farms destroyed, and livestock including cows, goats, sheep, chickens, and ducks stolen along with stored food.
“They came through the usual route between Ding’ak and Kopmur,” Fudang said, noting that a security checkpoint is less than a kilometre from the scene. “Soldiers fired shots into the air but did not confront the attackers,” he alleged.

Fudang described the incident as part of an ongoing wave of violence in Mushere land, pointing out that it occurred just two days after a similar assault on Ndimar community.
He urged the federal and Plateau State governments to act swiftly and ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice.
Security agencies have yet to release an official statement as of press time.
