Arsenal Captain, Odegaard Ruled Out Until December With Ankle Injury

Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard has been ruled out with an ankle injury, with reports suggesting he will be side-lined until December.

Odegaard picked up the injury during international duty with Norway in the recent international break.

Initial assessments suggested a quick recovery, but further evaluations have revealed a longer layoff.

The 25-year-old midfielder will now focus on rehabilitation, keeping him out of action until the second half of the season.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta addressed the injury ahead of their Champions League opener against Atalanta:

“After recent scans the scans showed that he’s got some damage especially on one of the ligaments in the ankle.

“It’s something quite significant so we’re going to lose him for a while hopefully not months but let’s see.
