Arsenal Coach Rubbishes Reports Of Loan Move For Coutinho

Arsenal coach, Unai Emery, has countered reports that the Gunners are bidding to bring former Liverpool star, Philippe Coutinho, back to the Premier League.

According to the manager of the north London side, they have “never talked about” a loan deal for Coutinho despite reports that a short-term agreement is being put together to bring an end to a testing spell at La Liga champions, Barcelona.

Insisting that the Brazil international is not a target for the club, Emery told Cadena SER “we’ve never talked about Coutinho.

“He’s a splendid player, but we haven’t talked about Coutinho at any time.”
